The MAT SKI Ski Protection Cover is primarily designed for FIS alpine racing skis in the following lengths:

• Giant Slalom (GS): 188–193 cm
• Slalom (SL): 157–165 cm

Developed to provide reliable protection for racing skis during daily transportation, training sessions, competitions, and travel, the cover combines durability, functionality, and a compact design.

Although primarily intended for competitive skiers, it is also suitable for recreational skiers whose equipment falls within the specified length ranges.

HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS & SKI PROTECTION

The cover is made from high-quality technical fabric that is resistant to water and UV exposure, ensuring durability and reliable performance in various weather conditions.

An internal protective felt layer separates the skis, preventing direct contact between their surfaces and reducing the risk of scratches, abrasion, and other surface damage during transportation.

Specially designed protective flaps extend over the upper sections of the skis, providing additional protection against scratches, friction, and minor impacts.

SECURE FASTENING SYSTEM

The cover features four adjustable hook-and-loop straps that allow quick, easy, and secure fastening.

These straps keep the cover firmly in place around the skis while maintaining a slim profile without adding unnecessary bulk.

Skis protected by the MAT SKI Ski Protection Cover can be placed inside a larger ski travel bag.

This provides an additional protective layer that helps reduce the risk of scratches, abrasion, and minor damage during baggage handling and transportation.

INTEGRATED MAT SKI NFC SYSTEM

One of the cover’s key features is its integrated NFC tag, compatible with the free MAT SKI NFC app.

The app enables digital identification of ski equipment using an NFC-compatible smartphone.

How does it work?

After scanning the NFC tag, the owner can activate it and enter their contact information and equipment details.

If another person scans an already activated NFC tag, they can only view:

• The owner’s name
• Contact information
• Country

All other registered information remains private and can only be accessed by the person who originally activated the NFC tag.

This system makes it easier to identify lost or misplaced equipment and allows anyone who finds it to contact its owner.

The person who activated the NFC tag can update the registered information or reset the tag to its original, unregistered state. After a reset, the tag can be activated again, making it particularly convenient when equipment changes ownership.

The MAT SKI NFC app is available free of charge on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
